Error - Page not Found (404)

If you have just installed PHPmotion and you are getting PAGE NOT FOUND - 404 errors, it could be due to the 2 following items

Reason 1 - You have installed PHPmotion in a subfolder

If you have installed PHPmotion in a subfolder, you need to Read these instructions

Reason 2 - .htaccess file

You must try and re-upload a file that came with your PHPmotion download package. The file is named .htaccess This file must be uploaded (via FTP) in the main folder where you installed PHPmotion

If you have uploaded this file and you still get this error, it means that your server is not setup to use .htaccess files. In this case, you must contact your web host, who will be able to fix it easily for you.
